High speed, low cost, advanced manufacturing for Aerospace and Defense

Solideon

We have a systemic issue with industrial manufacturing – the cost and time for new aerospace vehicles keeps growing. It took 4 times as long for the US military to make the F-35 (20 years) as compared to the F-14 from the Vietnam war era. Submarine building has likewise slowed. And we all know what happened to NASA’s rocket building once SpaceX came on the scene.

The US lacks the infrastructure, supply chains, and tooling, which are necessary to move quickly and stay on budget when it comes to building the most advanced aerospace parts and vehicles. The industry still does what they did three generations ago – buy big materials, turn them into small parts, and then build them back up into bigger vehicles, which is labor intensive and therefore costly and slow.

Solideon has the answer by combining the latest innovations in 3D printing, robotic assembly, and AI software. Solideon offers an autonomous multi-robot solution, Aperture, that is capable of 3D-printing, post processing, and assembling entire pressure vessels like submarines and rockets within weeks, both for terrestrial and space purposes.
